- Title: Software Engineer – Automation / Manual Testing

Summary of the profile:
Develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes.
What you’ll do here:
- Analyze the Rules Engine functionality and business objective with the goal of developing an acute awareness of the business logic and desired outcomes.
- Determine test cases to ensure thorough testing of applications/objects.
- Aid in the test automation process by writing test scripts.
- Work with the business and project management team to understand testing requirements.
- Create and communicate the process for testing approach.
- Establish testing artifacts, including templates and process flows.
- Create a test plan(s).
- Author and execute test cases addressing functional, integration, and regression testing. Identify methods or tools to improve or automate testing procedures.
What you will need to thrive:
- Well versed in Selenium.
- Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed.
- Select and develop appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test Automation / Manual, e.g., data- driven testing.
- Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites.
- Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases.
- Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
- Familiarity with IIS, TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, SQL Server, Security.
- Familiarity and experience with VMWare virtualization environments.
Education:
- Any degree with 3+ Years of experience in QA field using web based Technology is desired.
